Hello CMS Made Simple fans,
Today we are announcing the release of CMSMS v2.2.11 - Vulcan. This is a maintenance release addressing a few minor issues that have arisen while we've been hard at work on the upcoming 2.3 major release.
Specifically, we have made some tweaks for better PHP 7.3 support*, fixed bugs related to filepicker, copying content, and addressed an issue to improve dependency handling in ModuleManager. A complete list of fixes is available in the changelog.
This is likely to be the last release in the 2.2 series unless critical security flaws are identified. We encourage all users to upgrade to 2.2.11 at your earliest convenience. As per usual, only the two most recent versions (2.2.10 and 2.2.11 at the time of this writing) are supported by the Dev Team.
Finally, we would like to remind all users that the CMSMS 2.3 Beta is available on the Forge. All users are encouraged to test thoroughly and provide feedback. Module developers will likely need to make a few minor adjustments to their modules.
*Third party modules may still encounter issues with PHP 7.3. It is important to test all functionality before updating PHP versions on live sites.
