This has been a long time coming and we know it’s a vital, strategic step. One that we believe supports our commitment to expanding our community and evolving CMS Made Simple into an even more dynamic and collaborative Open-Source CMS. With this move, we can welcome more developers worldwide to contribute to our codebase, share innovative ideas, and help propel CMS Made Simple into the future.

Of course, we have structured the contribution procedures in such a way that we centralise control. The move to GitHub does not mean any major changes in direction for your favourite CMS. We stay true to the core values of the project: a scalable platform that is simple for end users, powerful for professionals, and enables website building from simple brochures to large website applications.

All of the Dev Team have been a part of this move, but particular credit goes to André and José who did the heavy lifting.
